The Houston Geological Society (HGS) is a professional society with a global perspective that brings together students, geologists, geophysicists, and academic experts across the geosciences. Our mission is to advance the geosciences, encourage the exchange and discussion of geological knowledge, foster professional interaction among geoscientists, and support academic training and development in the field.
As an HGS member, you receive valuable benefits, including member privileges, discounted event pricing, and priority registration for HGS programs and events. If you are an active member of American Association of Petroleum Geologists, we encourage you to support your local geoscience community by becoming an active HGS member.
