If so, share your love of geology by joining the HGS Special Awards Agency team of volunteer judges at the annual
Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH), Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Fort Bend Epicenter, 28505 Southwest Fwy., Rosenberg, TX 77471.
There are also opportunities for HGS members to volunteer in the Saturday morning SEFH Place Judging session. Some Place Award Judges get assigned to review projects that have advanced to Phase II on Saturday afternoon (if you volunteer to be a Place Award Judge you may not be able to serve as a Special Award Judge for HGS). Judging ends at 4:00 PM; the public can view projects from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
