The Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG) has raised licensing fees and annual renewal fees for licensed individuals and registered firms. These new fees are:
- P.G. Application and Licensing Fee $255
- P.G. Annual Renewal Fee $223 (those 65 or older will pay half this amount)
- Firm Registration and Renewal $300
- Sole Proprietor Registration and Renewal $50

Effective September 1, 2009, TBPG will begin accepting requests for Advisory Opinions, as authorized by Senate Bill 940, 81st Legislative Session.
