4th International Conference On African E&P
The 4th HGS/PESGB International Conference on African E&P will be held in Houston this year on September 7th and 8th at the Marriott Westchase.  Early check-in begins a 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 6th. At 8:00 PM Tuesday there is an Opening Reception with complimentary refreshments.
Attendees should register now on the HGS Website. The deadline for registration at a discounted price is noon on Thursday, September 1st.
The conference is organized by the Houston Geological Society and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain.  It is held annually, alternating between Houston and London.
This annual conference has become established as the primary technical E & P conference on Africa. A two-day program of talks is planned along with poster presentations and exhibits from sponsoring companies. The conference covers all aspects of African E&P with particular emphasis on new ideas for exploration, the geology of the continent, application of emerging technologies and case histories of discoveries.
