- Fence Building at the Evergreen Negro CemeteryWe will be building a short white picket fence around the Evergreen Negro Cemetery. One side is already built, we may need to reinforce that side, but we will be building 3 new sides. Work will commence the week before Saturday, April 2, with digging the post holes and cementing the posts in place. On Saturday, April 2 the remaining pieces of the fence will be put up and painted. Saturday, April 2 will be from 8:00 a.m. until noon. We will advise when (day and time) the week before we will be going to cement the posts. Team Captain - Williams, Michael P. (832) 379-6153
- Removal and clearing of debris at the Evergreen Negro CemeteryWe need to continue to remove debris, limbs, and other obstructions prior to survey and mapping project that will put down a grid with Section Numbers, Lots, and Coordinates so that we can document and know the location of every grave space.
