Afifi, Senior Geological Consultant, Saudi Aramco, Daharan, Saudi Arabia. His talk reviews the massive Paleozoic oil and gas finds in Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia in the last thirty years, what we have learned about the Paleozoic geology of the area, and the challenges it presents to exploitation.
