 inciples and practices of organic geochemistry wit
 h a focus on real-world applications in energy and
  environmental systems. In Part 1\, participants w
 ill explore the fundamentals of organic geochemist
 ry\, gain familiarity with basic and advanced anal
 ytical tools\, and develop skills in interpreting 
 complex geochemical datasets. Part 2 shifts to app
 lied contexts\, highlighting innovations in petrol
 eum geochemistry\, environmental forensics\, carbo
 n management\, and energy transition. Drawing on c
 utting-edge research and case studies&mdash\;from 
 major oil spills to carbon fiber innovation\, the 
 course concludes with a future-oriented discussion

  a Research Associate Professor and Director of th
 e Center for Petroleum Geochemistry at the Univers
 ity of Houston (UH-CPG). His work bridges environm
 ental and petroleum geochemistry\, with a focus on
  the molecular-level characterization of complex o
 rganic mixtures in both natural and engineered sys
 tems. Dr. Radovic has developed analytical workflo
 ws leveraging advanced techniques&mdash\;such as F
 TICR-MS and GC&times\;GC&mdash\;for applications r
 anging from oil spill forensics to carbon material
 s innovation. With over 50 peer-reviewed publicati
 ons\, extensive international collaborations\, and
  contributions across academia and industry\, he b
 rings a deeply interdisciplinary perspective to th
 e evolving role of organic (geo)chemistry in the g
